Meet the Team

Dr. J. Matthew Cronkhite, DDS

Dr. Matt Cronkhite has been the dentist at Mill Creek Family Dental and a resident of Lafayette since July of 2006. He and his wife, Doris, both deeply appreciate the community and especially the wonderful people in it.  They are very grateful for the warm receptions they have received since coming here. Both Dr. Cronkhite and Doris are active in their church, and Dr. Cronkhite enjoys playing the saxophone in the worship band.  He is an avid fan of almost all sports, but particularly follows college basketball.  He is also always on the lookout for competitive ping pong enthusiasts, like himself!  Dr. Cronkhite earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Indiana University before attaining his D.D.S. from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He greatly enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and finds it very gratifying to be able to help a variety of people obtain a healthy, beautiful smile. Dr. Cronkhite is a good listener, and his straightforward and honest manner gains his patients’ trust. He thoroughly communicates diagnosis, recommended treatment, and all information and options his patients need to determine the course of their treatment. He enjoys getting to know his patients and takes very seriously the responsibility that comes with the trust they place in him to provide optimal care. He feels especially honored when patients recognize how highly they are valued and refer their families, friends, and co-workers. His patients truly do come first, and Dr. Cronkhite and the Mill Creek Family Dental team continually look for ways to improve and provide the highest quality of service.

Marti - Office Manager
Marti has lived in Lafayette her entire life. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration in 2006. She has been working in the dental field since 2005. She really loves working with people and loves getting to know the patients at Mill Creek. Outside of work, her husband Kevin and her three children Brandi, Brooke and Austin keep her very busy.

Mandi - Business Assistant
Mandi graduated from Ivy Tech’s Dental Assisting program in May 2006. Mandi has been with Mill Creek since 2007 and enjoys working with her patients because they brighten her day. She lives in Lafayette with her husband Matt, her son Kyle, and their dog named Bandit.

Donna - Business Assistant
Donna graduated from IUPUI’s Dental Assisting program in May 1993. She grew up in Lafayette, Indiana. She married her husband Vince and lived in Florida until July 2009, when she moved back to Lafayette. They have two children, Taija and Vince and a Yorkshire terrier named Scooter.

Patty - Dental Hygienist
Patty joined the Mill Creek dental team in April 2007. She graduated from IU South Bend in 1994 with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. Patty resides in West Lafayette with her husband, Darrell and three dogs Tucker, Sinister and Taaya, and Mew the cat. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level. By doing so, she is better able to help each patient attain their personal perfect smile.

Brandy - Dental Hygienist
Brandy has been working in the dental industry since 1993. Working in all aspects of dentistry from pediatric to public health and general practices has made her a well-rounded person who enjoys one-on-one contact with patients. She is married with 2 girls. Her family is completed by 3 dogs and 2 cats and a horse.

Laura - Dental Hygienist
Laura graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne in May 2010. She enjoys spending quality time with her patients, and is very passionate about oral care. She resides in her hometown of Logansport where she loves spending time with her family and her fiance Christopher.

Jessica -  Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Jessica started at Mill Creek in November 2009. She did her externship with Mill Creek and gladly accepted when she was offered a job opportunity. Jessica graduated with her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Associate’s Degree from International Business College in Indianapolis in December 2009. She enjoys everything that dentistry has to offer and looks forward to a great career in the dental field. Jessica grew up in Earl Park, Indiana and still resides there. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and niece Tielyr.

DeeDee - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
DeeDee is from Lafayette. She graduated from IU School of Dentistry as an Expanded Functions dental assistant in June 2009. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends. She really enjoys working in dentistry and looks forward to getting to know the patients here at Mill Creek Family Dental.
